Hello Experts,

I am facing an issue with guest portal(Customized) which is on cisco WLC..

Virtual interface IP: 1.1.1.1

DNS host name: guest.xyz.com

Issue: Portal pops up on mobile or laptop and then disappears after 5 seconds.

What could be the reason ?

Thanks in advance

 - Check the portals-connected webserver-logs , specially error-logging.

Portal is on WLC itself.

I tried to to debug on wlc but there are no logs!!

 - As I recall the mentioned virtual ip is discouraged these days :

Change 1.1.1.1 to 192.0.2.1 but I dont think that's the issue -  check your pre-auth ACLs to make sure they block connectivity - the device web connectivity test may be able to reach their self-check server IP and close the portal down because it thinks they have internet access.

There is no pre auth. I am using portal on WLC itself and user auth on cisco ise.

Ok I will try to upload a new certificate and get back to you.

Thank you!

Hi Sandeep,

I updated the new wildcard certificate on WLC and now problem resolved.

I got to know that old certificate was invoked due to some reasons.

Thanks for your help.

Glad to help.
