I am looking for cisco documentation that has information about the ports used in the c9800.

The version is 17.9.3.

Which 9800?  The small ones, cloud or the -40/-80?

It is c9800-40-k9.

It is not a physical port, but a port used for services such as 80/443.

ok check the below ports :  web 80, 443, NEtconf 830, SNM 161, 162, SYSLOG  UDP 514, PI - 20828 20830 , SSH 22

Radius standard ports

 - It's kind of a reverse into the dark question; the reason being that the question is not uniquely defined , people may or may not want to use services such as snmp , ntp , DNAC , netconf and perhaps a few others , which determine the 'current ports used' on the 9800 ,

Like Marce says it completely depends what you configure on the WLC.
This document was intended for AireOS but much of it also applies to 9800:
https://www.cisco.com/c/en/us/support/docs/wireless/5500-series-wireless-controllers/113344-cuwn-ppm.html
This covers some of it for 9800:
https://www.cisco.com/c/en/us/support/docs/wireless/catalyst-9800-series-wireless-controllers/214286-managing-catalyst-9800-wireless-controll.html#toc-hId--1138887680

You really need to be specific about what you want to know because your question is too broad. eg what ports should be open to allow mobility between WLCs? or what ports are required to allow AP - WLC communication?
