Hello team,
The laptop is on the latest driver 23.60 or 23.90 but always shows the sticky behaviour always connects to 2.4ghz over 5Ghz and the laptop os is windows 10/11.
What would be reason for the sticky behaviour.
Anjana

Look at the wireless NIC setting and see if Preferred Band is set to 5.0 Ghz.

No mention of WLC model, AP model and code version?
Make sure 5GHz is actually working. Depending on AP model and code version there are a number of possible bugs - in particular https://bst.cloudapps.cisco.com/bugsearch/bug/CSCwn27877

Did you confirm that the 5GHz is actually working on that AP?
Can other clients connect to it?
Does it recover if you reload the AP?
