Is there any way to get a list of the country codes configured on access points either from the controller or via Prime Infrastructure?
I have a controller where we are nearly at the 20 country code limit and I want to check which codes are actually being used on access points to see if there are any I don't need.

CLI Commands:
Verify your country code configuration by entering this command:
See the countries to which your access points have been assigned by entering this command:
To see a summary of specific access point you can specify the access point name. You can also use wildcard searches when filtering for access points.

Yes it is possible.
Using AP console to check is bit difficult ,So you better use WLC GUI to check the list of countries.
Per AP Country code checking on WLC
checking All list of Country code on APs
WLC-> Wireless [TAB] -> Country [TAB]

Thank you for the reply. I know how to check the country on a per access point basis.
My issue is to check 200+ access points in this way would be very time consuming. What I need is a report that lists the country code users by all access points.

Hi,
Normally AP has its in build regulatory domain configured.
Example: AIR-CAP2602E-E-K9 --> Means its for Europe region
If you want this info from ALL AP via Cisco Prime infra then go here:Report > Report Launch Pad > Device > AP Summary > AP Summary Report Details

Unfortunately knowing the regulatory domain doesn't help. For example the -E domain includes almost 60 countries and I know most of my access points are covered by this domain. What I need is which countries are configured so I know which would be safe to disable on the controller.

Like what the others mentioned, the AP holds the key to the regulatory domain. There isn't a specific configuration to say which country an AP belongs to, you basically should enable the countries that your access points are located, so the WLC can determine what the common channels and power levels are for all the countries defined. This will keep you out of legal problems. With the newer code, you can specify the country for an AP Group, but again, depends on what code you are running.
show controllers dot11Radio 0 powercfg
Will show you what the AP radio is made for, which in your case, you already know, it's -E.
You could disable all the countries except for one -E, but you might be using a channel or power level that is not authorized for use in one of the countries that your access point might be located in and that is why you might get in trouble.

Hello Guys, I have a quick question, what is the difference between a regular AIR-AP3702I-A-K9 and a AIR-AP3702I-UX-K9 AP?
I dont understand if the AIR-AP3702I-UX-K9 model can support autonomous mode as the AIR-AP3702I-A-K9. Im not sure whats the different exacly does it use other channels?
Thank you again for your help!!!

AP3702I-UX is flex model, that allow you set the country code for it. Other other -A -C is fixed country code. But remember you need manual set the country for -UX model before you use it.
