Hello, I have 5508 WLC for around 5 years and managing Cisco AP's modeled 1832, 1831, 1815, 2600, 2700, and 2800 on my office
6 months ago we bought 10 units Cisco AP 9115ax and use EWC as the 9115ax controller, but we've recently bought WLC 9800 planning to managed all model Cisco AP unit above. how do I migrate the AP's from EWC to the newly bought 9800, and also how can I migrate all the AP's from old WLC to the new WLC?
the list of Access Point from old WLC is shown below

- Check https://www.cisco.com/c/en/us/td/docs/wireless/compatibility/matrix/compatibility-matrix.html , pay attention to needed software version(s) for older APs and future support.
Use DHCP option 43 , to led APs discover the correct controller.
- Further check reply from Arshad Safrulla in https://community.cisco.com/t5/wireless/migrating-9120-ewc-to-9800-wlc/td-p/4687229
- Review the intended configuration of the WLC 9800 before production use with the CLI command show tech wireless and feed the output into Wireless Config Analyzer
