Hi Guys,
I am new in wireless, I wanted to know do I need both MSE and CMX or I just need one of each?
What is the difference between the 2?
Thank you

If you're running the old version (8.X and earlier) it's called MSE. If you're running 10.X.X then it's called CMX.
Cisco Connected Mobile Experiences (CMX) 10 Ordering and Licensing Guide < --- Read this. Very important to know how much it'll cost (and it will COST!). Don't bother trying to get the appliance because it's not scalable. Talk to your AM/SE and about the different license level.
Read the Release Notes carefully. License level can change and won't get reflected. Be warned.

Hi Leo, but in terms of functionality? Does CMX can do what MSE can do?

CMX runs a higher version of software to MSE. Functionality wise, CMX can do (slightly) more than what MSE can do.

By the way, without activating any licenses, CMX comes with 120-evaluation license as default. So you can try-before-you-buy.
