Hii

i am try to convert AIR-AP1041N-E-K9 autonomous to Lightweight (Controller Base). i was successfully upgraded but it can not find the WLC IP.

I don't know why it happen. i have also check the switch and found it is fine and DHCP is enable.

i have also create a DHCP pool in my WLC.

But still it can find any IP address via WLC.

It shows the following error:

*Dec 17 11:27:49.827: %CAPWAP-3-DHCP_RENEW: Could not discover WLC. Either IP address is not assigned or assigned IP is wrong. Renewing DHCP IP.

Please check the attachments.

Regard

Yasib

Hi Sandeep,
Is there a way for us to know what channels the RRM is currently useing when the controller supports multiple countries? I am reading that RRM would use common channels which are allowed in all the countries the WLC support. But, when it comes to reality, how can we know what channels that RRM is using to assign to AP's?

HI Sandeep

Thanks for the posts,it was really helpful.

My problem is solved.  AP joined the WLC, it was regulatory domain miss-match issue. I have changed the WLC's country to China and now its working fine.
