Switching to backup port in WLC

Hi Guys,

I have one WLC connected with two 6509 cores and I configured in WLC one port  as backup and works, but takes around 13 sec to be able  to see the second core! can i decrease this convergence time ?

How do you test it ? simply unplug the cable from primary port of WLC ?

I do not think any configurations around time it take to detect primary port status

I unplug the primary port to test and took 15-25 secs for convergence. So this is normal and no way to make it less time.?
