Hi, I am trying to configure three C9136I-ROW access points. I could give the primary and secondary controller details, but I cannot get them on the controller.

Below is the error that keeps on popping up in my putty session,

Anyone else has gone through this error before? Do you have any idea how to fix it?

I really appreciate any help you can provide.

 - What is the software version on the controller ? For -ROW you need at least 17.6.x , but if possible go for advisory such as 17.9.4a ?

Those logs don't look like anything to do with discovery or joining WLC.
As Marce says make sure WLC code is up to date as per TAC recommended link below.
Factory default reset the APs and then capture the complete AP console log from power on till it tries to join the WLC a few times at least. Save to .txt file and attach the file your reply.

Have you tried a radioactive trace for the AP MAC address on the WLC?

Hello All, Issue is fixed after factory resetting the firewall. They are all being mounted now and thanks for posting your responses.

Are you using correct software ?

Cisco IOS XE Software Release 17.7.1 or later

Do you got any firewall in between ? and can you see anything on the WLC ?

What is the country code on the WLC?

Refer the AP Join issues link below.

I checked the article. Our WLC is configured with Great Britain's country code. I also checked and confirmed that C9136I-ROW is a compatible model for Britain. ANything else I am missing here?

I configured nearly 8 APs of the same hardware on the same controller this morning. What is different for these last three APs? Thank you

@RoadRunner4k Below are the IOS details,

cisco C9136I-ROW ARMv8 Processor rev 4 (v8l) with 1753084/926000K bytes of memory.
Processor board ID FGL2717LZVE
AP Running Image : 17.9.3.50
Primary Boot Image : 17.9.3.50
Backup Boot Image : 17.7.1.11

I cannot see this AP on the controller yet. No FWs between these APs and the WLC. And, this morning I configured 8 APs, but all of a sudden this issue started and three APs are now stuck with the error I posted before.

Is LAG enabled on the AP join profile ? and the AP only connected with one link and not two for some reason ? have seen issues with this

LAG is disabled on the AP join profile and AP is connected with one link. But I just factory reset two APs again and they are now connected to the controller. I don't know what was the issue with these APs before. Thanks guys for the help.
