Upgrading from 8.0.121.0 to 8.0.140.0 To Support 2702I-B AP's

Hi Group,

We have a client that is wanting to upgrade the code on their 5508 from 8.0.121.0 to 8.0.140.0 in order to support their 2702I-B AP's.  I had them provide the outputs of "show boot" and "show sysinfo" so that I could verify the version of FUS they are currently running.  I have included the outputs below:

Don't touch the controller.  It might say 1.9.0.0 in the filename but this equates to 1.0.20 in the controller.  I know confusing.  (Don't ask!)

thanks for the reply!  that sounds good to me.  One more question.  Is the field recovery version of 7.6.101.1 going to be ok with the 8.0.140.0?

Should be fine.  Upgrade to 8.0.140.0 and don't stay too long on 8.0.121.0 (I've seen a lot of weird stuff happening with this version of firmware). 

Read the Release Notes as well, it should mention what legacy APs are supported (and are not) with the code.
