Upgrading from WCS 7.0 to Prime 3.1

Hello experts,

I am planning to upgrade a WCS 7.0 to Prime 3.1

My planning was :

- Upgrade to from WCS to Prime 2.1

- Upgrade from Prime 2.1 to Prime 2.2 with a fresh installation and backup/restore 

- Upgrade from Prime 2.2 to Prime 3.0 with a fresh installation and backup/restore 

- Upgrade from Prime 3.0 to Prime 3.1 

Am I on a good way ? Or should I have t ogo through the versions 1.X of Prime ?

Prime 3.1 has higher requirements for the server. If you are going from WCS to Prime 3.1, your best to start from scratch. You can a always export your maps and import them into Prime but I don't think it will work from WCS to PI 3.1 without something breaking. It's faster to build new than upgrade. You might also need new licensing so look into that also.
