Hi All,
I have follow below URL to disable the https over web authentication:
https://supportforums.cisco.com/docs/DOC-13954
What i want to achieve is disable https over web authentication due to certificate issue, but it seems like even we have disable the http over web management as above URL describe, still https while doing web authentication. Or it is possible to configure use port other than 80, like 8080 for web authentication? (need to reboot the wlc?)
Is there any bug that related to this CSCsy32145?
WLC Software Version 6.0.196.0
Thank you.

If I am not wrong the real workaround is disabling HTTPs, and SSH (everything related to certificates) then save configuration and then a reload is a MUST.
LEt us know the result

Yes, the reload is MUST, after i have disable the https on web management and ssh, then reboot the wlc, web authentication finally through http. Really thanks a lot. There is another problem for the custom web authenticate login page, i have successful uploaded the webauth bundle file to wlc. Unfortunately while i select the custom web auth page instead of internal, the authentication is not working. No matter i key in the correct or wrong password, the web auth page forever there. What should i check for the custom web auth?

i found that the original URL is look like this:
but the customized web auth page is look like this:
"switch_url=http://2.1.1.1/login.html&wlan=Guest&" this part is repeated, I couldn't find anything related this URL from the login page.

Still showing the same URL as i posted, i believe is nothing to do with coding part, could be wlc bug?

i found the solution, it is related to the html coding that we uploaded to wlc. I downloaded the wlc 5508 webauth bundle file from cisco tool website, and it is working great. So to summary this customized web authentication page, you will need the office webauth bundle from cisco tool website (need login). Thanks for everyone help.

Hi,
if we disable HTTPS, then its global.. that means.. the HTTPS access to the WLC will not be possible..
