The AP mode is local. Can uplink packets be captured in 2504? It is the data flow information of the client.
I have tried config ap packet and sniffer. It seems to catch management traffic.

What I mean is to catch the traffic from the client to the public network. I tried this method. It seems to be the traffic between the client and wlc

client to the public network ... i think .. you would run packet capture/sniffer on the client or over the air capture

If you have a router between the AP and WLC and you're not using DTLS encryption on your capwap data packets, then you can use the router to capture the capwap data stream which contains your client traffic.

Unless he is running Flexconnect local switching.
In that case you must capture the traffic directly at the switch where the AP is connected to.

@patoberlithe first line of his post says "The AP mode is local." so I assumed all client traffic is being CAPWAP tunnelled back to the WLC.
