WLC AIR-CT2504-K9 cannot boot

Hello all. I have wlc  AIR-CT2504-K9. After save config and power down, wlc cannot start. In console I see:

I try to power off/on wlc, it doesn't help. I see the same error. Help please!

If that's the entire Console output then "FUBAR" is the term you're looking for...  Looks like a problem with the memory.

Call Cisco TAC and get a new one.

Thank you, the problem is really in hardware (flash). The WLC is broken and it will have to change.

I have a similar problem with one AIR-CT2504-K9, when the new equipmet is turn on just shows the next:

WLCNG Boot Loader Version 1.0.18 (Built on Oct 5 2012 at 00:04:18 by cisco)

Board Revision 0.0 (SN: XXXXXXXXXX, Type: AIR-CT2504-K9) (P)

Verifying boot loader integrity... OK.

I guess I must ask for RMA

If your WLC is still under maintenance then get them RMA-ed. There's nothing else you can do about it.

Hi jiabin,

In my case I asked for the replacement of the new WLC, if you have smartnet for it you had better ask for RMA
