how i can delete image  or bundle example (AIR-CT5500-AP_BUNDLE-K9-8-5-151-0.aes) from WLC after download it to WLC?

             >...how i can delete image  or bundle example ....
You don't need to delete another version first to get a better one installed as per :https://www.cisco.com/c/en/us/support/docs/wireless/wireless-lan-controller-software/200046-tac-recommended-aireos.html
  please install https://software.cisco.com/download/specialrelease/2702eede2b47a5c3bb40795bbe836af6
and check if that can  help.

It also contains the fix for
            https://www.cisco.com/c/en/us/support/docs/wireless/aironet-700-series-access-points/218447-ios-ap-image-download-fails-due-to-expir.html

If the WLC is on 8.5.151 and APs dont join, check these debug commands to verify if its due to expired MIC cert.

MIC and SSC certificates expired on Cisco AP - Cisco Community

Your post looks suspiciously similar to https://community.cisco.com/t5/wireless/air-cap1602i-e-k9-and-air-cap702i-e-k9-ap-stuck-in-downloading/m-p/5011019#M266003
What a coincidence that 2 different people would both upgrade their 5508 to 8-5-151-0 on the same day and then post about it here?

Anyway this problem is addressed by FN72524.  You need to install 8.5.182.11 - link below.

hello,,,

i want  8.5.182.7

i want  8.5.182.7
Then download it!

But I advise against doing that when you should be using 8.5.182.11 which has additional essential bug fixes.

Any way to get the files for the 5508? Not available for download anymore.

   - @sergio-jimenez    Not officially , that's because the 5508 is EOL. Better move forward, you can for instance deploy
the virtual 9800-CL with up to 50  APs without  direct complaints about licensing

@sergio-jimenez  Although 5500 seems to have been removed (possibly due to End of Support) the 2504 image is still there (for now) and it turns out they actually run the same image (just with different names).  You can confirm this from the release notes showing the same MD5 for both images:
Image name                   MD5                              Comments
AIR-CT5500-K9-8-5-182-12.aes c94c5d965787997111de3d5f7235926d Controller Image for 5508 Platform
AIR-CT2504-K9-8-5-182-12.aes c94c5d965787997111de3d5f7235926d Controller Image for 2504 Platform

So you can download the 2504 image and use that but get it before that also gets deleted <wink>
If you need the AP bundle then you're out of luck unless you can find it by searching the internet.
