We have a collection of 9006's with RSP-440's running 6.4.2 Classic. We'll be upgrading these boxes to RSP-880's with some MOD-200's to support our 100G links using the MPA-1X100G's. Some documentation on the CPAK's indicates we need to upgrade to a 7.x version in order to support the CPAK optics, but other documentation shows they're supported as low as 6.0.2. Is there really a version requirement for optics, or is this simply a matter of documenting what's been tested. Or possibly something like CPAK's are designed to be used in line cards that are only supported on higher versions of XR?
Here's our specific desired hardware config:
ASR-9006-AC-V2
A9K-RSP880-LT-TR (6.4.2 Classic)
A9K-MOD200-TR
A9K-MPA-1X100GE
CPAK-100G-LR4 (using CFP2-CPAK adapter)
Thanks,
Phil

i would check here
https://tmgmatrix.cisco.com/?tpid=33&npid=712
you need to hover over the blue icon and check the hardware revision of the CVR and LR4 for compatibility
the min version for 32bit xr is 6.0
the min version for 64 bit is 6.3.1
Thanks

Apologies, as it turns out the CPAK in question is the new CPAK-100G-ER4F, rather than the LR4 model in the list above. This is more difficult to pin down, as it's not listed under the MPA on the matrix.
