Hello everyone
Would anyone happen to know of any tips/tricks or commands to lower the Fan speed in the ASR 1002 Router. The noise is defining, sounds like a Jet Fighter engine. Especially at first power-up. Then it's even loud when it shifts to settled mode and resonates loud.
Are there any Fan speed tricks/commands, Or any add on muffler tricks/tips Or anything that anyone has experimented with that has worked to quiet down those Jet engines ???
Any suggestions or help would be greatly appreciated
Cheers

Is there any known tips/tricks that we could try? Are there any known muffler attachments or something?
I understand the ASR is meant for a DC, but we have one in our office computer/network room and we can hear it all the way across the office.
Should we replace it with an ISR ? We have a 3945E in house. Is the ISR 3945E comparable to the ASR 1002-F in performance, data throughput ??
Thanks again

There is no comparison.
Stick to ASR and double the server room walls with sound proof... or get a sound proof rack.
