Have you changed the link speed to 10G? Step 14

https://community.cisco.com/t5/service-providers-documents/migrating-from-rsp440-to-rsp880-on-asr9000/tac-p/3157288

i am unsure if this is the LT version of the RSP880, then the steps are slightly different, if it is we may have to change

rommon 1 > RSP_LINK_1G=1

rommon 2 > ALDRIN_VERSION_DISABLE=1

rommon 3 > RSP4L_ALDRIN_1G=1

rommon 4 > sync

Step 8

Thanks

hello Tkarnani

the procedure mentioned will force me to upgrade RSP440 to 5.3.1 and sync it with RSP880 then i have to upgrade RSP880 again to 6.x ver

so i thought if RSP880 came reloaded with IOS image most likely above 6.x this will save much time and effort.

Hi Ahmed,

The original RSP440, can have any code above 5.3.1, 5.3.1 is just the first code to support RSP880.

so either we can try to sync to the original RSP440 or use Turbo boot to load the code on the RSP880

if the RSP880 does not  have an image. instead it looks like its failing to sync. so we can try to load an image via turboboot.

you can download 6.x code and try to load it via USB

Thanks
