Upgrade XR from 5.3.3 to 6.5.3

Hi all,

I'am going to upgrade my network from 5.3.3 to 6.5.3 XR version. Do i need some special SMU, or some special steps, or can i only install ADD all packages and them activate them ?

Hi Rosa

As long as you are upgrading to 6.5.3 32bit XR, the upgrade procedure should be the standard.

admin install add harddisk:/filename.tar

admin install activate *6.5.3*

Just be sure the hardware is supported

if you have trident based cards, it will not boot with 653

if you have typhoon and higher you will be fine

Upgrade without any issue. i did not have any of those HW. Was replaced before.
