Looking for a way to script the scenario:
Customer calls to agent. IVR prompts for user's employeenumber.
[script here]
Agent keeps web browser open at abc.com, which refreshes automatically based on [abc.com/employeenumber]
We currently already have a widget for finesse which does this, but agents prefer not to use finesse.

When saying the agent not prefe to use finesse, what do you mean by this?
If they are agents they have to use an agent (Finesse, FIppa or Custom) to answer calls.
Are you looking for a solution where the agents not a agents (If you understand me.)?

yeah ideal scenario would be for them to prompt user for employeenumber then using abc.com/employeenumber find out who's calling.

What you're saying makes no sense. Are the agents using Finesse yes or no? If not, how are they getting calls delivered to them? If you're using Finesse you can configure a workflow to pop abc.com/{VariableData}
