Shutdown - work from the "outside in". Startup - work from the "inside out". By "inside" I mean the central controller (router, logger, AW-HDS). So if it was me:
* shutdown CUSP
* shutdown Finesse
* shutdown CUIC
* shutdown CVP
* shutdown UCM
* shutdown the PGs
* shutdown AW-HDSs
* shutdown the Routers
* shutdown the Loggers
For Startup (assuming a duplex platform
* Logger A
* Router A
* Router B (within a short timeframe and see it in duplex - Diagnostic Portico is your friend)
* Logger B (completing the core)
* Start the Distributors (on the AW-HDS)
* UCM
* PGA then PGB
* CGA then CGB (I like my A side PIM active)
* Finesse
* CVP PGA then PGB (I like my A side PIMs active)
* CVP
* CUIC
* CUSP
There are variations, but the Central Controller is the last to go down and the first to come up. I like to start A sides before B sides just to keep my "active" components on the A side at least at the start. They can (and will move around) but at least start with a known state.

Geoff

Hi,
Never came with this question. To shutdown you can follow any steps. I will do;
During startup, you should follow below steps.
AD is by default required for all the Cisco OS. I assume AD is running DNS role and all Cisco servers are pointing to same AD server.
Hope this helps...
