Hello,
i could not log in to CRA internet explorer application when Callmanager subscriber was up and publisher was down. Allthough DC directory was active and my pwd was correct and user was marked as administrator in CRA engine.
Once was publisher up and running i was able to log in.
Can anyone tell me why did it happen ?
Couple of minutes before it had happened cpu power of cra box ran at 100%.

Make sure when you run the LDAP setup both callmanagers are specified separated by ",".Go to System -->Configuration and repository and under directory host name use the following setting

The order might change depending on which is the main server that is processign the calls.
If you just specify one server when that server is down CRS cannot access the ldap directory and hence cannot login.In that case you need to use the default login

Thank you for your response. I have checked it up and can confirm that both servers are configured in Directory host name field.
We used dns names instead of ip addresses, i am sure dns server was running at that critical time.
