Hi friends,
Am unable to access finesse API URL for login. https:<FQDN>:8443/finesse/api/User/9001 it gives me error (attached).
At client place, am getting the error which I have attached. (Image Client snap.jpg)
In my lab, am able to get the Agent state URL page. (Image Lab snap.jpg)
Can you help me what am missing. I restarted the server though not working. Config remains the same at both the places. Still guessing where's the blockage. Firewall ports are open between server and client. Antivirus is disabled on client system, on server no point at all.
Port 8443 is open.

Hi,
The port for HTTPS requests is actually 8445. So please try the API again with 8445.

Dear Denise,
Okey. How come its working in my lab environment? I telnet the port 8445, its not telneting.
On another Production system where port 8445 is listening bi-directionally why its not working. strange denise.
Please suggest.

Hi,
Sorry, I didn't read your post carefully. I probably should have asked earlier, what version of Finesse are you using? And is this a UCCE or UCCX system.
If it is UCCX, the HTTPS port is 8445.
If it is UCCE and Finesse 11.0, the HTTPS port is 8445.
If it is UCCE and Finesse 10.5 or below, the HTTPS port is 8443.
On the client's system, first do a systemInfo to make sure that Finesse is up and running and IN_SERVICE: https://<FQDN>:port/finesse/api/SystemInfo
If that is working correctly, then maybe the agent isn't configured correctly on the client's system. If it is not working correctly, collect the Finesse webservices logs to see why Finesse is unable to start up.

Thanks for support and guidance! You saved me. As you suggested to check System state, it's IN_SERVICE and am able to open URL: https://FQDN:8445/finesse/api/User/9004. Further I'll update if any.
