Hi
While configuring the SIP Dialer Component in Admin Workstation via the OUTBOUND OPTION DIALER what shoud be selected under the option
"ICM Peripheral Name".
In a document i could see a note like "Note : This peripheral is the CallManager PG, not the Media Routing PG."
Could someone tell me why this should be CallManager PG.
Regards

I asked myself the same question, the only reason why I would think that's the case is if you're running an agent based campaign and your agents are off the UCM. I think for SIP and IVR based campaigns this doesn't apply.

Hello,
Same thing with me , what david said is true , the peripheral is not used with SIP dialer in case of agent campaign however you have always to use the ccm peripheral , not the MR peripheral.

Hi All
For outbound call, Dialer needs to know the agent status if any agents available or not. It knows this via Skill Group Status request to CTI Svr. But for that, it needs to know Agent PG. Even thoug Agent PG wont be used to any call routing, but for Skill Group status, it is required.
Hope this explains.
Thank you
