TAPS out of the box does not allow configuring a phone with an E164 DN. Our system uses full E164 DNs to provide an worldwide, enterprise dial plan. I modified the TAPS script that runs on UCCX and now one can press * 1 614 424 9999 on the phone and TAPS will register the phone as \+1 614 424 9999 (spaces shown for clarity only). I've attached the E164 version of the TAPS aef file. I only added two lines of code to the script to make it work.
We are running these versions:
UCM 8.5.1.11900-21
UCCX 8.0.2.11003-10

Great stuff William!
Thanks for sharing this. It saved me a ton of time since the way Cisco suggest to solve this, according to this url https://supportforums.cisco.com/docs/DOC-13144 seem to require a Premium license. I had a look at what you did in the script and I must say that your way is far easier and also cleaner.
Again thank you!
Sincerely

I'm attempting to use this in 10.6, and it appears to be ignoring the "allow over writing for any profile" system parameter. I keep getting "extension is already in use" errors. Any guesses?
CUCM 10.5(1)
UCCX 10.6(1)
