Our company just purchased the Cisco Outbound Option and we are currently on release 8.5. Our area has been tasked to create campaigns to notify our customers whenever their service has been disconnected or when funds are low. We do not have the ability to create the flat files; however, we have existing Web Services that can provide this data. Is it possible for the Outbound Dialer to accept a Web Service or is their an existing VXML IVR applications that can perform this task.
Thank you!

The simple answer - no.
You need to create a program to contact the web service, obtain the results, then write the file in the directory the Import Manager is watching in the format defined by your Import config. It will suck it in and either delete it or rename with .bak extension.

Hi all - I looked in the uccx 8.5 admin guide and there are import fields but is there a sample file of a call list that we can use as a model to build a call list for testing?

There are no Sample files or Templates available for Call Lists. We have to use only comma-separated plain text file with .txt extension. The contacts file should be ASCII-encoded or UTF-8 encoded if it contains special characters (for example, if the contact names are in Chinese, Russian, Japanese and so on).
Pls rate the post, if it helps.
