Hi,

if you have multiple agents sharing phones dues to rotating shift:

a) Is UCCX licensed per individual agent OR on simultaneous/concurrent logins ?

b) Do agents usually login to PC and then EM into phone and then login to Finesse??? Is there a way to automate this or make it less than 3 logins ?

Hi,

A UCCX license defines the system mainly along the following lines: Licenses are either concurrent
or named-user licenses.

  • Package: determines available features
  • Seats: number of concurrent agent logins
  • Ports: number of concurrent calls in the queue

Concurrent licenses apply to logged in users. Different individuals may share a concurrent license as long as only one of them is logged in. For example, Company A has 300 unique users that work in 3 shifts. Each shift has 100 logged in users. Company A needs to purchase only 100 concurrent user licenses.

Named licenses apply to unique individual users regardless of their logged in status. Company B has 300 unique users that work in 3 shifts and each needs access to the licensed option. Each shift has 100 logged in users. Company B must purchase 300 named licenses.

for your second question:  There are SSO feature available in UCCX but does not satisfy your requirement.

regards,

Mukesh

Concurrently logged in agents and supervisors

Not aware of it, but one thing you could to to simplify EM login is it's the same user logging onto the same phone is to create EM single button login with a Service URL button defined to login that agent with click of a button. For Finesse as stated SSO would be an option to consider.
