Hi all. I'm wondering if there's a way I can have a simple script that will play a prompt and transfer the call to a destination, except that rather than have the prompt play, and then forward the call, it will forward the call while the prompt is playing, and interrupt the prompt if the recipient picks up before it's finished.
Is anyone aware of a way to do this?

The best you could do to get close to this requirement is to use consult transfer step instead of redirect.

OK thanks, but where do I put the Play Prompt step, in that case?

Hi
The best you could do is configure 'network hold' on the Call Control Group with the prompt uploaded to CUCM as your audio source. That way it will play out when the transfer initiates, and repeat until the other end answers or the transfer fails.
