In the effort to make the Assets accurate, it is better to have the information about when the assets were delivered.

With that additional information, the Operations team will get idea whether this is a spare (if purchased long time ago) or a new hardware (if it is recent date). In the medium to large size organization, the Engineering team / Implementation team purchases assets but since it is not online yet, the Operations team will not know. But the assets already show up in the CXC.

Thank you for being a CX Cloud user. We do not currently have plans to develop this specific feature, but please continue to share feedback and stay tuned to future releases!

I'm not sure why this idea is shelved. A core feature of CX is lifecycle around hardware. When we prioritize replacing hardware it's important to do this by how long we've owned the hardware. Our finance department also tracks this data, but it would be nice to not have to reach out to another department to get this information and often times it's not 100% accurate.
