Hi
I have a CUCM 8.6 with the device package "cmterm-devicepack8.6.2.26169-1.cop.sgn" installed for phones 78XX and the phones work fine, the phone register and update the locale to es_CO. But I can't see the phone information under application menu.
Then I try downgrade the firmware to the version sip78xx.10-3-1-12 to sip78xx.11-0-1-11 and the process ended without problems, but the phone still don't showing the phone information under application menu.
According with the release note http://www.cisco.com/c/en/us/td/docs/voice_ip_comm/cuipph/7800-series/11-0-1/releasenotes/pa2d_b_cisco-ip-phone-7800-series.html I don't see any caveat related with my problem.
In the generic user guide this option is available
I don't know what happen. I hope can help me with this.

Also I tried configuring the phone with english locale but still don't see the phone information

In the application menu I only see this:
1.- Call history
2.- Preference
3.- Accessories
4.- Bloqueo (Extension Mobility)

Hi,
I will check this today in office however in the meanwhile can you check on the 7821 phone
configuration page if you have set Settings Access to Restricted or Disabled ?
Also check the Common Phone Profile for this phone where you will find the same setting.
