Hello,
We have a secure CUCM 12.5 cluster, and we are deploying a new site with SIP trunk to Telco.
When we receive a call, it shows secure (with the lock icon on the IP Phone), but if we put the call on hold, or perform a transfer, the call will become unsecure (no lock icon).
For sites with PRI line, calls remain secure after hold/transfer.
Can you give me some suggestions on how to keep the call secured after hold/transfer?
Thanks,

I’d start by grabbing SDL traces of the call from CUCM and examining the re-INVITE. Does CUCM offer SRTP in the SDP? If yes, do the other participants (phone & gateway) choose not to use it - and if yes, which? If not, the issue is within CUCM logic. If you’re good at reading SDL traces you might be able to spot the error. Otherwise I’d take those logs to TAC to see what’s up.

Hi,
Are you using an external MTP resource such as IOS MTP? Does it happen also if you put on hold an internal call?
Please let us know
