Can't download VCS license

Dear All,

we have UCS 220 server for UC solution and we have installed a VCS server on it but when we try to download the license we are getting the below error

"Please register Virtual Base SW PAK, before registering Option PAK"

Just a thought :

Have you generated and uploaded VCS license ?

Option keys are required for Addon features.

Hi Guys,

I also have issue in downloading the license file.

When I tried to submit the PAK on license/go.com, I was prompt to enter serial number which I used my UCS220 serial number but encounter a error message.

What other serial number can I use beside the UCS220 serial number?

You first need to install the VCS Expressway on the UCS. After the installation you will see the generated serial number of the VCS which you can then enter together with the PAK to generate the activation/release keys.

I had to use PAK from Cisco License Key Software envelope before I could register PAK for Expressway-E.

Hi kennedymeaza,

I have same problem with you but my product is Cisco TelePresence Conductor.

I readed its again and i registered another PAK : Software Release Key for Virtual Conductor.

After that, i request "PAK for virtual Conductor" successfully.

I think you should recheck configuration.

First you need fullfilled the licence LIC-SW-EXP-K9, after this you can fullfill LIC-EXP-E-PAK
