CDR not reporting missed calls

GadgetFood

I notice when placing a call from my cell to my Cisco Deskphone and if I disconnect before I answer or voicemail it picked up it does not report this call in CDR Reporting. Is this consider not to be a call since its still ringing or is this something more of a configuration issue or something I am overlooking or is it by design?

Resource I been reviewing

Hi James,

You are probably missing the "log calls with zero duration" flag;

https://supportforums.cisco.com/document/53056/understanding-cdr-call-detail-records#Logging_Calls_With_Zero_Duration

Cheers!

Rob

Default if false I will turn this on. Do you know if this will pick up the missed calls that currently show on Cisco phones for call history or is there a query I can do against the database to pull call history for devices?

It will take effect for the missed calls that will happen after you turn this parameter to True. AS far as query is concerned, there might be one which can be created querying and joining the tables within DB, worth posting it at below forum:
