Hi,
I have a new IP phone 6921 , S/N: PXN160703GL, that will be configured with a CallManager express version 4.1, but after configuring the IP address, the Tftp server and the DNS in the IP phone an error message was displayed in the Phone screen indicating that " PHONE NOT REGISTERED".
I don't know if the problem is related to the firmware? Because when I go to the "IP Phone Loads" from the CME I didn't find the model 6921, the model 79xx is only found.
The cisco 6921 is it supported by the CME 4.1, or we need to upgrade the CME version??

Hi,
Thanks Chris.
So in this case what should I do?
Should I upgrade to another CallManager Version? if yes which version could be compatible with the Cisco 2801 router and should support Cisco 6921 IP Phones???
and thank you again for your help.
Regards,
Fida

Yes, upgrade the IOS to a version that includes CME compatible with your phone.
