A few of our overseas sites are supported by a Mitel 3300 MXE IPT system, but there is interest in using the Cisco 7937 conference phone at them. Has anyone attempted this? If so, what were the results? What was necessary to have the 7937 register with the Mitel server and operate properly? Any performance issues?
Thanks, all...Steve

Hi Steve,
The 7937 is really a re-branded Polycom, so maybe this model might
be a better fit
Cheers!

7937 is SCCP phone only which is Cisco proprietary, so I don't see a way to get it to work with any other PBX.

You can connect the 7937 over VPN to your HQ Cisco UC.

Good answers, all. I'd forgotten about the SCCP issue. Rob, the Polycom suggestion seems like the best approach. Thanks much...Steve
