Cisco IP Communicator 8.6.6 interoperability VM Horizon

Hi Guys,

I would like know if there are interoperability between Cisco IP Communicator 8.6.6 and VM Horizon. I tried install the IP Communicator in the virtual machine and didn´t worked. I am not able to put the IP TFTP Server

CIPC is not supported on VDI platforms at all. You may be able to make it work but it won't be supported. Also be aware that Cisco has announced EoL for CIPC: https://www.cisco.com/c/en/us/products/collateral/collaboration-endpoints/ip-communicator/eol-notice-c51-740383.html

You must Run As Administrator to modify the TFTP Servers; these are stored in registry keys that users don't have permission to.

Thanks a lot for Your contact. About:

1) Support, Ok, I understand that not is supported to any VM

2) About the support, was announced the Eol, not, support, correct?

3) About the TFTP, same login with Administrator privilege, not is being possible put or change TFTP (any suggestion about this?)

2. Correct, though the end of SW Maintenance date (i.e. when they stop fixing bugs) is September 2019.
3. You have to do a UAC elevation "Run As Administrator".

Same logging with Adminsitrator privilege the option TFTP not stay enable

My co-worker have admin privilege and install the IP Communicator on Virtual Machine and worked. Thanks a lot for Your assistance
