CIUS - How do you???

Trying to do some things on CUCM 8.6.2a with CIUS tablets.  Can't find documentation on how to do the following things:

1.  While on a video call, how to you get the CIUS tablet to switch over and use the REAR camera on the call (i.e. how to switch between cameras while on a call)?

2.  How do you access things that would be controlled via softkey functions normally (like MeetMe)?

Hi,

Switch camera when an active call is not possible. The following enhancement defect is opened:CSCtq23002    Support to switch between front and back cameras during active video call. And Meetme is not a supported feature on the CIUS. Pls refer the datasheet for supported feature for CIUS.

Is there any way to have CIUS use the rear camera for a video call at all...even if it's for the entire call?

Maybe I'm thinking a little outside the box here, but you could set up a mirror on the front side of the CIUS and then, with the right angle, you could stand behind the CIUS and be visable on the front camera...

Ok....you could do that.

1.  It's a cludge

2.  Suggesting that to a customer just sounds like a bad idea.

The reason customers want this is so that they can call someone and SHOW them something.  In a factory environment, that's not flying very well.

That bug id isn't viewable by non Cisco employees.  Can you provide any summary of what it says/disposition?

This Bug is raised for to Support  switch between front and back cameras during active video call and currently this feature is not supported.Hopes this will help.

As per the present plan, this issue will be fixed in CIUS firmware version 9.2.4. As of now Cisco had released 9.2.3 which is available here . You might want to watch out the space for 9.2.4 which will be released soon.
