CUCM 11.5 licensing

Dear Team,

 

We have Cisco ELA for licenses.I have uploaded licenses after upgrade CCM from 10.5 to 11.5 but licenses not fully consume in ELM. Please advise

have you upgraded your licenses to 11.x?  If you still run into trouble, send an email to licensing@cisco.com  (or license@cisco.com) cant remember exactly. and quote your support contract, they are normally pretty good in generating you a new PAK file for your upgraded version

the attached license snapshot shows License usage for CUCM 10 as well as version 11 while u mentioned upgrade from 9.1 to 11.5 .Is it that u upgraded from 10 to 11 and uploaded fresh licenses for version 11 along with existing version 10.

 

If that is the case , u need to get in touch with licensing@cisco.com to get licenses for CUCM10.

 

Can u explain how  exactly u did upgrade?

Actually, I upgraded from 10.5  to 11.5 and uploaded licenses in 11.5.

Is there workaround to fix the issue without opening the case.

Can you post a snapshot from PLM usage.

Please find the attachment.

You need to contact licensing team to convert v10 to v11 lic. Your ELA
isn't having v11 license. Just send an email to licensing@cisco.com and
they should be able to help or call tac and they will direct you to
licensing.

It doesn't. If you look at the counters they are all zeros.

I already added licenses to newly installed 11.5 from the ELA and its fine.

While they are added to new instance try to go to cisco.com/go/license and
rehost them. Then install the new pak in the old setup and see if it works.

are u getting any alert of Demo Licenses when u login into CUCM Administration?

The first thing I would try is to delete the CUCM instance from PLM and then re-add it and then synchronize.

 

Also where is your PLM server running? - Is it co-resident with CUCM on the Publisher, co-resident with Unity or stand-alone?

I open a case with support. They asked me to download 100 pro licenses and add. So issue fixed
