Hi,
I have had a request to enable inbound caller ID's for management staff phones to be displayed as a name on the internal phones.
I can't see that this is something that is possible straight out of the box but maybe something that could be configured as a phone service maybe?
Example:
Inbound Caller Maybe and XML service? - Resolves (Phone subscribed for services)
09 7856 5656 => Cisco ISR => CUCM8.6 => Looks up 09 7856 5656 = John Smith => Forwards name to Mangers phone = John Smith
Does anyone have any examples or information on the feasability of this ?
Thanks
David

Good afternoon, Paolo.
Please kindly share your script with me@nikolay.n.kozyrev@gmail.com.
I hope this would help in my scenario:
2222 calling num \ 3333 called num-- CUBE --CUCM -- script vlookup 2222 num with user -- as result, target 3333 will see 2222 calling num + Name & Last name.
Thanks.

If you enable Single Number Reach then inbound calls from remote destinations should have their calling ID presented as users phone DN and name.
This might resolve your issue.

Hi David,
That's the one of the features of Cisco Unified Mobility. I am not aware of your version of CUCM, here is the link for 7.0(1)
http://www.cisco.com/en/US/docs/voice_ip_comm/cucm/admin/7_0_1/ccmfeat/fsmobmgr.html#wp1198972
Kind regards,
Andrew C.

Hi David,
Why not save yourself most of the work and use a 3rd party solution instead?
I recommend that you check out 2Ring PHONE SERVICES (IPPS) http://www.2ring.com/NewJuice
It provides special module for these purposes called CLID. Also, we can work on gateway using TCL script or just with CUCM via TAPI.
If you think that it could be useful, then jus follow the link to get more information.
And remmember, the FREE or TRIAL license is possible to ask for.
Regards,
Martin
