C2900-UNIVERSALK9-M), Version 15.3(3)M, RELEASE SOFTWARE (fc2) - What is the quickest fool proof way to determine if a particular IOS version supports UC applicaitons? Can this IOS support a PRI card and be a gateway in a CUCM deployment? Maybe a simple show telephone services?

It's worth noting that the versions listed in the link Deepak posted, are the ones that the BU tested with, that doesn't mean other releases will not work, there's no way to test every single IOS Vs. every single CUCM version.
Any IOS that says universal, will have ALL of the possible features the IOS has, which ones you can use, will depend on what licenses you install on it.
You can also use the IOS feature navigator if you're interested in something in particular.

I learned to use "Show License" and list what features were enabled. This release could do the required features but there were not licensed or enabled.
