HI
I need a help in E1 conenction is showing Deactivated.
Here is the scenario, where E1 conenction is connected to a pbx using Qsig.
The output are showing as below
Global ISDN Switchtype = primary-qsig
ISDN Serial2/0:15 interface
dsl 0, interface ISDN Switchtype = primary-qsig
**** Slave side configuration ****
Layer 1 Status:
DEACTIVATED
Layer 2 Status:
TEI = 0, Ces = 1, SAPI = 0, State = TEI_ASSIGNED
Layer 3 Status:
0 Active Layer 3 Call(s)
#sh controller E1
E1 2/0 is up.
Applique type is Channelized E1 - balanced
Description: VOIP|Ericsson MD110|E1 ISDN|Y|||EQU-1-3-00|||V13|
No alarms detected.
Any help is more appriciated.

isdn network side is configured under interface, not controller.
After which you have to shut/no shut.

if i am not wrong, its already configured in the router.
encapsulation hdlc
no logging event link-status
isdn switch-type primary-qsig
isdn overlap-receiving T302 7500
isdn incoming-voice voice
please let me know if it is wrong. thanks

You may have the PBX in loopback causing this.

I configured the interface as isdn network side, still no luck.

Hi Pavan,
Did u try configuring Clock on router?
Can u cross-check the parameters one by one u have configured on router with EPABX guy since after u change network on your side EPABX needs to be on Slave ?

The network -clock are missing.
I doubt this is problem .You need to configure network-clock participate
