Only way to factory reset is from phone itself. With CUCM 10.X I think there is a possibility of remote wipe as long as you have phone registered to CUCM (I haven't tried that you can try if you have CUCM 10.X onwards.

Hello ,
Remote wipe is being supported on certain phones not all phones in CUCM 10.x

Br,
Nadeem Ahmed
seems like we have only these phones support this feature
Product | Protocol | Feature | Parameters |
---|---|---|---|
Cisco DX650 | SIP | Remote Wipe | |
Cisco DX70 | SIP | Remote Wipe | |
Cisco DX80 | SIP | Remote Wipe |

Nadeem,
This feature would be useful if this function is applicable to a lot of the phones (not just the top-end models). Is there plans/road-map to push this feature (Remote Lock/Wipe) down to other phone models like 79XX, 88XX, 99XX?

Thanks Nadeem +5 - In the link I posted it does say only some phones are supported but I was typing from a mobile device couldn't pull up the supported models.
Is there a list published anywhere which specifies the supported models. As Leo has mentioned it would be nice though to have this for all phones.
gpsriramdc : You have no other way than to manually do a factory reset. Although it will show you the phones available for remote wipe, if you submit the query it will come up with an error, I tried on a 7936:
SEPXXXXXXXXX does not exist or support this functionality
Result Summary :
WIPE for 0 PHONES passed.
WIPE for 1 PHONES failed.
