Hi Keith,

I'll just add a note to the good pointers from Chris (+5 "C")

If the user is already @ the Opening Greeting Call Handler, where

they are offered the option to dial an extension, then you should just be able

to Press * to reach the Sign-In conversation. It's set this way by default on the

Edit> Caller input> for the Opening Greeting CH.

If you are wanting to route a DID number to the Pilot then I would use a CTI-RP

CTI-Route Point in CUCM with the Call Forward All checkbox to Voicemail

(on the DN config page) to get from A to B

Cheers!

Not sure if I follow, so you built an auto attendant in Cisco Unity Connection and you want to point one of the options to something? Or do you want to redirect calls to CUCM when caller enters the DN? Can you explain the call flow you are trying to accomplish?

Chris

Chris - this is pretty new to me so if I do not have the flow correct it is because I am green. The caller is given the option to enter an extension to reach someone. We want to enter an extension to reach voice mail. Coming from the Avaya world, I was thinking we can create the DN on the CUCM and have it point to the VM pilot so they can check VM remotely

Thanks Rob - I know it is simple but I am new to this and trying to jump in. It works fine!

Hey Keith,

No worries! You are most welcome

We made the move from Avaya/Nortel a few years back

so I feel your pain. Stick with CSC, there's tons of great,

helpful peeps here and you can endlessly learn new things!

Cheers!
