Hi,
is there any way to change the softkey template for a logged assistant ?
I'll try to be more clear: also if I select a specific softkey template for the assistant, when the assistant log to the service ( using the phone ) the sofkey are different and I cannot find were to change them; it's like the assitant will get a specific template that is configured somewere.
For example, i would like to have in the first screen the tranfer ( consultant transfer ) softkey button .
many thanks in advance

Hi Luigi,
I believe the IPMA Assistant uses a Template called "Standard Assistant"
if you search the Softkey templates you should be able to copy the
"Standard Assistant" template/ rename it/ customise it and apply it
to the required Assistants

Hi Rob,
many thanks for the reply.
The template "standard assistant" is used in automatic configuration to deploy softkey template to assistant but i found that in this template I've different softkey than the ones I've configured.
For example, in standard assistant for connected state I've:
- hold
- end call
- transfer
- redirect
....
but on the phone i get:
- select
- answer
- exit
- other
When the assitant log on, another softkey layout is in effect, related with the application IPMA different with the one i can customize ( see attached screenshot ).
I can access to the phone softkey template clicking EXIT; it seems in the IPMA softkey layout there is not "transfer" option to the manager ( only a direct tranfer ).
Best reards
Luigi

Hi Luigi,
Can you check the Service parameters to see what's set for the Softkey Template
Set the Cisco IP Manager Assistant service parameters by using
Cisco Unified Communications Manager Administration to access
the service parameters (System > Service Parameters).
Choose the server where the Cisco Unified Communications
Manager Assistant application resides and then choose the Cisco IP Manager Assistant service.
Cheers!

Hi Rob,
the template in IPMA configuration ( on the service parameters ) is "standard assistant" but the softkey i've in this template are different from the keys i find on the phone.
This template is related to the softkey phone while i was trying to chang the application softkey: this is what i suppose looking at the screenshot in my previous post.
best regards
Luigi

Hi Luigi,
try to change the enterprise phone configuration >> softkey control.
maybe there's some restrictions on the feature control policy.
and if you could provide a screenshot for "configure softkey layout" to view IPMA softkey please.
Best regards.
