Jabber - is therea way to force g.711 from the client ?

For some reason, even with g.711 at the top of the audio codec preference list, our jabber clients still choose Opus or g722  - wondering if possible to force it from the client side, possibly via a custom jabber parameter.

If you dont use this codecs, You can disable those from p enterprise parameter

If you set the Audio Codec Preference List on the Region setting for these devices and the devices are ignoring it, try resetting the Region from the Region configuration page. I have noted that resetting a Device or a Device Pool does not always commit a new Region setting, but resetting at the Region configuration page will make it 'take'.

If I may ask: why do you want to disable the other better quality codecs? We might have more specific guidance if we understand the problem.
