Hello community,
I have two questions:
- Am I right that running BE6K on a "third party" VMWare platform is still not supported ?
- If the answer to question above is "no" than what options do we have to migrate the BE6K (licenses) of a customer to a "non BE6K" environemt (CUCM & Unity Con.) system to run it on the VMWare platform the customer is already running. (ESW/SWSS has to be renewed in a few weeks).
At the moment the UC systems are running on a seperate VMWare platform with 2 standalone UCS-C series servers...
Thank you for any hint...

It is still not supported to run BE6K on a third party HW platform since it is a bundle that comes pre installed with a certain set of UC applications on a specific Cisco UCS hardware. However, you can always run UC applications on a third party server (in case you do not want to order BE6K) as long as it meet the requirements mentioned in below document:

For migrating the licenses, reach out to Cisco Licensing Team at licensing@cisco.com and they will help you with the same once you provide them Sales Order (SO) Number, Purchase Order (PO) etc.

@Deepak Rawat Thank you so much for sharing this information. However, the link below isn't reachable. Is there a more recent one that can be shared here?

Try Googling "Cisco collaboration virtualization supported hardware". Or, as you are a Cisco Employee you can reach out to the BU.
