Need a T1 voice card for my 2811

Hello !

I would like to use my 2811 router as a CUCM voice gateway (MGCP), What module would I need to get as a minimum ?

Does a  VWIC2-1MFT-T1/E1 work ? - as per the Cisco web site, it should, but do I need to add DSPto the router to make the voice work ?

Hello,

yes the VWIC2-1MFT-T1/E1 will work. Remember that you'll need at PVDM Module. Size can be determined by dsp calculator:

Also minimum IOS version of 12.3(14)T for the VWIC card.

You did not say what type of PSTN connection you have, that card will work for PRI, T1/E1, if that is what you have then along with PVDMs you will be good. If on the other hand you have POTS lines then you need FXO card, or analog DID lines require FXS/DID card. For SIP trunk you do not need any cards.
