Phone background Image Issue

Hi Guys,

We are trying to change the phone background image but no luck.

- Applied image on common phone profile.

- Restarted tftp 

Please find the attached logo and xml file.

Which model of IP Phone are you trying to change the background image?

Model is 8845

1) What is Image size?
2) Did you modify it to proper size? In which TFTP folder did you copy the image.
3) Did you Uncheck the Box Enable Background access to users in COmmon profile
4) Did you apply the common Profile to the phone an reset the phone?

I assume that you have followed the procedure that is described below:

Can you clarify if you can change the image manually to a certain phone that is under the specific Common Phone profile?

If your answer is yes ie if you can manually change iy, then you should try uncheck the option "Enable end user to access phone background (Device -> Device settings -> common phone profile) and reset the phone(s).

Hi,

The correct size for 88XX phones is 800x480x24 and because of a mistyping on the documentation, the  right dimensions is thumbnail is 139 pixels (width) X 109 pixels (height)

So modify the List.xml into

<CiscoIPPhoneImageList>
<ImageItem Image="TFTP:Desktops/800x480x24/tn-emrill.png" URL="TFTP:Desktops/800x480x24/emrill.png"/>
</CiscoIPPhoneImageList>

Also make sure to modify both the image and the thumbnail size.

Put them into Desktops/800x480x24/ tftp directory and you should be ok

@Carlo Poggiarelli  Background image shows on phone now but there is little cut from the down image.
