Hi,
Is PVDM4 supported on 3900 series voice gateways?

No, only on ISR 4Ks, you need PVDM3s for ISR G2s (3900, 2900).

Hi Chris,
Thanks, is it documented somewhere?
If so, could you please provide the document or URL for the same.

Notice that the modules size is completely different, they no longer look like DRAM sticks hence you cannot even fit it anywhere on the previous models.

Hi Chris,
These document doesn't say that it is not supported on 3900 series.
it's only says about 4K.
and if you see this document it says PVDM3-32 replacement is PVDM4-32 which again creates confusion.

Exactly, it only talks about 4Ks as those are the only platforms running PVDM4s, sorry I am unable to locate better documentation, perhaps someone else will have better ones or can be more convincing. Or you can contact your Cisco account team for official clarification.

The datasheet doesn't list support for it for 3900 series router models.

The replacement part might have been meant for 4000 series routers and looked a little confusing because it was a breakdown for parts.
