Standardize Directories button across phone models

We have of the 8900 and 6900 phone models.  We're trying to standardize the information that you receive as far as the call log when you hit the up and down arrows on the phones.  Does anyone know if there is a way to manipulate this via an XML service.

You can buy or develop a AXL Application but you can't change the standard phones's way of display this information.
